The Stovall House

The Restaurant features regional cuisine prepared using fresh ingredients and presented in an intimate yet informal setting. It is open to the public as well as our Inn guests, so if you are unable to stay with us you can still enjoy our view and fine food.

Year round, dinner is served Thursday through Saturday 5:30 to 8:30. Luncheons and dinners for groups of 8 to 50 any day of the week are welcome with at least 48 hours notice. Reservations are recommended throughout the year.

Appetizers

SOUP OF THE DAY: Cold or Hot, but from a can it is not.

GARDEN SALAD: Fresh greens & vegies tossed with your choice of Stovall House dressings.

PHYLLO: Half portion of Phyllo Entree.

PASTAS: Smaller portions of Pasta Entrees.

Entrees

$10.00 to $14.50

FETTUCINE ALFREDO: Spinach or Egg Noodles with a rich sherry cream sauce.

MANICOTTI: Ricotta filled pasta topped with a tangy tomato & herb marinara sauce.

PASTA PRIMAVERA: Spinach or Egg Noodles tossed with fresh Vegetables lightly sauteed in olive oil, pesto and garlic.

(All pasta entrees are served with a Garden Salad & our cheese muffins)

PHYLLO: Layers of the paper-thin Greek pastry stuffed with the homemade filling of the day and baked (2/order)

PHYLLO (LITE): Half portion of Phyllo, with Vegetables

HONEY-MUSTARD CHICKEN: A boneless breast of chicken marinated in White Wine Worchestershire sauce, and grilled with a zesty honey-mustard sauce.

STUFFED CHICKEN: "The House Specialty" — a boneless breast stuffed with cream cheese and herbs, lightly sauteed, and baked.

OLIVE-PORK SCALLOPINE: "Ham's Favorite"— Center-cut medallions sauteed, then simmered in sherry with mushrooms, scallions, and green olives.

GINGER-GARLIC LAMB CHOPS: Basted with the sauce and grilled.

TILAPIA ALMONDINE: A light Freshwater fish fillet sauteed with seasonings and topped with almonds.

SALMON ORIENTAL: 8 oz. Salmon fillet baked with teriyaki sauce.

CITRUS TROUT: Fresh trout fillet baked with zest of lemon and orange, herbs, and lemon pepper.

NACOOCHEE TROUT: Whole mountain trout pan fried.

SAUTEE TROUT: Crab-stuffed whole mountain trout pan fried.

(Above entrees served with two fresh vegetables & our Cheese Muffins)

 

Sweet Afterthoughts

APPLE PIE: Fresh apples with a buttery crumb topping with ice cream.

APPLE PRALINE PIE: A blend of two Southern favorites with ice cream.

CHOCOLATE FUDGE BROWNIE: Sinful with ice cream & chocolate sauce.

CHEESECAKE: Tantalize your tastebuds with the cheesecake of the day.

SWEET THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Ask about the special dessert of the day.

Regular Serving Schedule:
          Thursday thru Saturday............. 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
        

Without scheduled reservations, we may close early, so please call ahead!

SPECIAL SERVINGS:

LUNCH is available for a group of 10 or more any day of the week, preferably with one week's notice.

DINNER is available on a night we are normally closed, if you have a group of 10 or more and make prior arrangements with us.
